Medical Sonographers are healthcare professionals who perform ultrasound examinations of the human body. They use ultrasound technology to generate images of their patients and send a technical impression of the findings to the reporting. Medical Sonographers are also known as: Diagnostic Medical Sonographers, Ultrasound technologist (or “tech”) and Echocardiographer (“echo tech”).
